Valuable work of art never talks too much. The beauty exists when sufficient discretion space remains. I am not sure when beautiful correspondence of discretion between you and me, and myself and the world, starts to disappear. Discretion means another expression of omission, from which we can arrive at a special status of respect. Omitted parts make you to resolve the issues at hand by yourself, which in turn carefully consider and wholeheartedly respect the other.

Even if we observe the young moon in the sky, we can imagine the full moon. The unoccupied is occupied with the imaginable light from the very bottom of the mind. It is the prototype of self-existence. I urge you to revive this type of beauty. Even though a painting is not at all in my line, that is the main reason why I am always so delighted with Maestro Keumreung Hyun-Chul Kim’s landscape drawing.

I read with fresh mind the old sayings: the dented complete the straight and the void create the pleasant. Even though the refreshing wind comes in through a brushwood door and pairs of shoes are laid on the terrace stone, you cannot hear human voice as fall is around us. Even though bamboo shadow sweeps the yard, no dust rises, and you may notice a shoal of fishes reading the moon as fall is around us. Both time and space is far and near.
